The railway crossing

In these days we've been working in class reading the different stories of a book. We had to make summaries, connect the stories to the real life, choose the most important words, etc, in groups from the stories. Everyday the people from the group changed their tasks.

The story I liked the most was ''The rayway crossing''. It was about a man who wanted to get married and he needed money. He stole some money from the place where he worked, but a man that he worked with realised about it. That man started to force him to give him money or he could say the boss what he had done. In five years he man who stole the money did what his ''friend'' wanted to, what one day he got really angry and made a plan to stop him. He wanted to invite him to his house and make him get drunk, then he would go with him near a railway, hit him in the head with a hammer and then leave him in the railway to let the train kill him. The plan was going well until they got outside the house, he forgot the keys and if he killed him and left him there he couldn't go back and tell the police if they ask him that he didn't go outside. So he didn't kill the man. The next morning, when he woke up he watched the news and saw that the man was dead. He was really afraid, the police would think that he had murdered him. He tried to lie but he finish telling the truth, the police thought he was a murder and he want to prison.

I liked this story a lot because I didn't know how was it going to end and it keept me very involved.

My special ability.

My ability is that I can laugh as If I were
the happiest person in the world even when I have a horrible problem.

I've always had this ability but I realised that I had it two years ago. I remember I had some problems but people were still asking me: ''Why are you always happy?''

I like my ability a lot. Everybody feels better when they are laughing, so I can feel good even when I have a big problem. Sometimes I need somebody to help me to smile, but usually I do it myself, and I love that.

In my opinion, to smile everyday without any exception is the most important thing in life.

Scary Story

Natasha was a fifteen-year-old teenager from Manchester. One day, her grandfather became very ill and went to hospital. She really loved him, so she used to visit him once a week and he always told her horror stories. It was a perfect day, her grandfather was telling Natasha a zombie story when suddenly, he stopped talking and closed his eyes. Without wasting a minute, she called the doctors. But it was too late, he had already died. When she was leaving the room, she heard a strange voice saying "I'll be back.." Although she didn't give much importance to it. Since that day, Natasha went to visit her grandfather to the cementery every Saints' Day

In the Saint's Day of 2001, Natasha and her father went to visit her grandfather to the cementery. When they arrived, the found his tomb opened. They decided to separate to look for the grandfather.

The father found him before Natasha and realised that he was a zombie, so he started to run, but the grandfather took and bite him.
At the end of the cementery, she saw an old man alone, and she became aware of that the man was his grandfather, and that... He was a ZOMBIE!
The grandfather started following her so she went running to her mother's car.

Her mother was waiting for her in the car when she saw her husband, who had converted into a zombie. She closed the door of the car cutting her husband head, but it was too late, he had already bite her in the leg.

In that moment, Natasha came running into the car and she was stranged to see the bite in her mother's leg and her mother's eyes had turned into blue. After a while, she realised that her mother was a zombie too.
Then, her grandfather, her father, and her mother started following her, she was really frightened. Suddenly, it was sounding a melody which came from a church and... She opened her eyes. Everything had been only a nightmare.

The following day was the Saint's day so she went to visit her grandfather to decorate his tomb with flowers. During the travel, she heard the same melody she heard in the nighmare, but when she arrived to the cementery, her grandfather's tomb was in perfect conditions as always.

At the end of the cementery, there was an old man, as in her dream, exactly the same. She touched his back, and when he turned back, she realised that it was her father.
Everything was perfect, as always, or that was what it seemed to be...

Someone like you

These are the  lyrics.

I heard that you're settled down,
That you found a girl and you're married now,
I heard that your dreams came true,
Guess she gave you things I didn't give to you,
Old friend, why are you so shy?
Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light,

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited,
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it,
I had hoped you'd see my face,
And that you'd be reminded that for me it isn't over,

Never mind, I'll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you, too,
Don't forget me, I beg,
I remember you said,
"Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead,"
Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead, yeah,

You know how the time flies,
Only yesterday was the time of our lives,
We were born and raised in a summer haze,
Bound by the surprise of our glory days,

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited,
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it,
I had hoped you'd see my face,
And that you'd be reminded that for me it isn't over,

Never mind, I'll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you, too,
Don't forget me, I beg,
I remember you said,
"Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead,"

Nothing compares,
No worries or cares,
Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made,
Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

Nevermind, I'll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you,
Don't forget me, I beg,
I remember you said,
"Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead,"

Nevermind, I'll find someone like you,
I wish nothing but the best for you, too,
Don't forget me, I beg,
I remember you said,
"Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead,"
Sometimes it lasts in love,
But sometimes it hurts instead.

Just thank you, Grandma

Dear Grandma:

Just thank you. Thank you because you're the best person I've ever met. You're more than a grandmother, you're a friend. Thanks. I'm so glad to have in my life even when I'm the most annoyest person in the world, and even I don't call you very often.

You always stand me, you always realize when I'm bad and help me, but you never ask me. You have a very special way to help me, because I think you're one of the best person that understand me. You always know what to do to make me happy even when you don't know my problems.

Thanks for all those evenings when we play table games and we finish talking about some stories of your life to help me not to do what you did. Thanks because you always correct my mistakes, letting me to know what is bad and what is not since I was a baby.

Thank you for teaching me how to express my feelings, how to cry in public, for improving the person I am, because thanks to you I'm the person I am now.
Finally, thank you for being with me since I was born, for being the first person that took me, and being like that until now.
I'll never end saying 'thanks' to you.

Lots of love,
your granddaughter, Clara.
